Compare to a couple years before, this area has improve so much. It’s become more clean and organized. Parking is “available” at the side of the road, but it would be better not to bring your car here. For the food, tastewise it’s good. Flavor is thick and heavy. Choices are plenty. You may find yourself encounter with a lot of street musician

I came here because this area is interesting, with many Rumah Makan Padang stalls lined up and selling food together. It was hard to choose which stall to try. I picked this one because the food looked fresher and more complete compared to the others. We enjoyed the Itiak Lado Mudo, although it was quite pricey at 50k. We also ordered Telur Ikan and Telur Dadar, and everything tasted good. If you plan to eat in this area, be prepared for noise from passing vehicles, as the street is quite loud, and there were also some flies around. I am still searching for the best Rumah Makan Padang or Nasi Kapau in Jakarta. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

One of the TOP choice for Nasi Kapau (North Sumatra mixed rice) along the area of side road food street of the many choices of nasi Kapau. We tried the usual Beef rendang, curry Coconut chicken as well as the BBQ chicken. For the price of 25K per meal it well worth it and tasted great!

Always choose this place if I confused where to eat. There are so many choices of Nasi Kapau places in Senen, but I always choose Sabana Bana. The waiters are friendly, you can ask for help or take it by yourself. The taste of the food is also delicious and the spices are just OK. The drawback is, once I got the taste of vegetables that weren't fresh, the place is on the side of the road so the food was in an open window (if you can't tolerate dust or are afraid the food will get dirty, I suggest you not to eat here). Then the price is always changing, if you pay to a different person, the price will be different again. Overall it's ok to try eating here!

Among many nasi kapau stalls along the street, this is the one that I recommend. Hygiene, good quality foods, and worth the price.

Quite good and delicious “nasi Padang” here. The sauces were tasty and fragrant. We enjoyed our late night meals and it’s affordably inexpensive. Will be back for sure
